It’s that time of the year, get out your camping gear!

I know these items have been a long time coming. At least half of them were done a year ago but I never had the *oomph* to finish it all off. Well, the sun is finally shining here after a long dismal winter and I am feeling all springy and summery myself and it made me want to finish the set. There are still a few things I’d like to have done. Maybe later. I hope you enjoy! =)

Some notes:

At first I made a camping *bed*, then after looking at the sleeping animations a sim really does when there is no blanket, I decided to make a camping bed *sofa* where they can sit but also nap. You can choose which version you’d like or use both. They have unique IDs. The sims do sleep better in the bed version, of course.

Since I try to make repository objects whenever possible I have a few slaved items here.

The tables:
There are 3 tables, an endtable (with 5 slots) and 2 dining tables – 1×1 tile and a 1×2 tile. The 1 tile table and endtable are slaves of the 2 tile dining table and use it’s textures, so you need that version in your game for the others to work. Recolourers: Recolour the 2 tile dining table.

The stool:
Is a slave of the the camping bed *sofa*, so you’d need that object in your game aswell for the stool to work and pick up the textures. Recolourers: Recolour the bed sofa.

The lanterns:
I used Maxi’s Brite Nite Lantern on a Rock from their website for these objects. Basically, I removed the rock and now have an all surface version and a hanging version for the wall. They aren’t slaved to Maxi’s item because I wasn’t sure it would work (their MMATs are in a separate package). However, the wall lantern IS slaved to the all surface version and it uses those textures. So, here also, you need the all surface version in your game for the wall version to show up. Recolourers: Recolour the all surface version.

You need Bon Voyage for the tent recolours! They are also relatively large files, so they are separate downloads.

A little colourful bedroom set.

It’s not 100% Bohemian I think but also not quite anything else, so the title can be interpreted how you like. Chiceria = German word from the word “Chic”. I’ve had the single bed for a very long time now but only in off-white and have really wanted new colours and some small things to go with it. Actually, I wanted a bed similar to the blue one in the film “Mamma Mia” (insert P&L here ). I had tried the colour pink on the bed frame and was debating on whether to actually finish it for the game but now I can say it’s my daughter’s fault. She saw the bed in pink in my 3d editor and then forced me to. Really. The double bed is a slave of the single bed and uses textures made for that, so don’t delete the single bed if you want to use the double.

The dresser: I especially chose a Maxis dresser to retexture because I wanted to try not to always make new meshes if those from the game do a good job. It does need OFB though as it is the Central Asian 1 tile dresser. Hope you like. =)

Please note:

The endtable has 5 slots. 4 on top – they are not symmetrically aligned (you’ll see). This is fully intentional because we don’t use a ruler to decorate our homes in real life either lol! There is one slot on the floor underneath, so you can put some slippers there or something. Whatever is there will move with the table if you decide to put it somewhere else. As always, use the letter M to move things from slot to slot.

Some new beddings & pillows. I’ve had the pillow mesh in my game for ages (separated from Jennifer’s bedroom bed mesh) but hadn’t really had time to recolour it. The round pillows can be removed via the invisible texture. Hope you like. =)
