moroccan medina curtains

Part 1 of this set is ready! Woo! =D It consists of a 1-tile, a 2-tile and a 3-tile curtain as also a diagonal version which works with all the other 3 and they use the Repository Technique (explained at the end of the post).

Fabric Re-Textures:

Rod Re-Textures:

Tip: If you’d like to use the curtains in the middle of the room (not against a wall) as a room-divider you can use the invisible rod and then use the cheats “moveobjects on” and “boolProp SnapObjectsToGrid false” to place them where you want them.

Important: These curtains use the Repository Technique as explained in this thread at MTS 2. Before you go reading for a long time and never come back, lol, basically this means that one mesh is the master and the rest are slaves. The slave meshes rely on the master mesh for the textures and if you want to recolour these curtains, you must recolour the master mesh. In this set the master mesh is the 1-tiled curtain. All slave curtains will use any texture made from the 1-tiled curtain. The reason for using this method is to save disk space and it would really be utter nonsense to have the same textures in your downloads folder each 3 times for each mesh (later more when the drapes are finished). Maxi’s bedding, for example, is done the same way. If you delete the 1-tiled curtain, the others will not work.

The diagonal version is not available in the buy mode catalogue. The other meshes use it when you attempt to place them diagonally. Without this version, you cannot “automagically” place them on diagonal walls.
