Finally updated for use with Apartment Life & above. Shiftable up and down the walls. There are no issues with them containing decorative items and them being moved at the same time. Yay! 
To place 2 or more on 1 wall tile, you must use the usual cheat CTRL and ALT. These have their own new Guids, so if you have the old ones and you’d like them to be a lot more flexible in their placement, & also have less textures and objects in your game (faster loading time with less), remove the old ones completely before putting these in your downloads folder.
Meshes & Textures:
The old post for these shelves remains in the archive in case anyone still needs them (and doesn’t have AL). Find that post under “surfaces”.
This is a shelf system that you can use around the whole room if you like. These have slots, so that you can place deco items or lamps. The corner mesh has 3 slots. One of the straight meshes has 2 slots, the other, 1. Basically, you can put just about anything you like on these shelves. Decorate how you wish. =D
The same notes apply to these as those from the ones that are not shiftable.
1. All have one working slot that the sim can use for a newspaper or their bills. On shelves with more than 1 slot, it’s always the left one when looking from the front.
2. Yes, they are hacked to work this way, so if you do have any issues – please let me know. I don’t expect them to cause any problems because they work fine in my game and I don’t put anything up on this site without testing them before-hand.

I have fallen in love with your shelving systems-the texturing is beautiful, but I am having issues downloading them. Do I need to be a member here to download? Apologies if I missed that bit somewhere. I get an HTML file (I think, I’m not an expert, when I open the file IE takes me to the right page), although it does say .rar I cannot open it. I assume this is a problem on my end as the shelving systems are not the only files affected but I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks for sharing all your wonderful creations
Hi Donna, I’m sorry you are having issues. I know about this issue but I cannot resolve it. Neither can my host. The person that coded the downloads manager does not have an answer for me either.
The downloads mime types are all set to be forced as downloads, so the browser should not be opening them. The only other thing I can think of is your browser settings. Check that the application handling of .rar and .zip is set to automatically download.
There are a handful of people with this problem and it is bothering me somewhat. I may have to turn off downloads the next few days and implement another system for them. I’m not sure yet as it will be a lot of work.
Oh, and no, you don’t have to be a member to download.
