“shuffle me” shelving

This started off with me making high shelving racks for my roller rink in-game. Those will be up at a later point but these are ready to be used. For an attic, a basement, a shop or in a study. Wherever you want. Each straight piece has a corresponding corner piece, so they can be used seamlessly around a room and put next to each other, no matter what the size. Please read the notes and, enjoy! :D

Meshes

Recolours

Other notes:

1. The meshes are actually slaves and they automatically pick up the textures for the cheap bookcase and the tall library bookcase in-game, so, even if you don’t download the textures here, the meshes will still work. Of course, that means also, that the textures here also work for those 2 bookcases.

2. All racks have 2 slots per shelf. The tall rack has 10 slots, the mid-height 8, and the short 6 slots.

3. Thanks to the person that made the blue worn wood texture. Have no clue who you are but it’s great! :)

4. Objects in the pics come from various creators at modthesims, Parsimonious, Retail Sims, Garden Of Shadows and who knows all else lol. I have too much crap in my game.

I can’t wait to use this in game! Very, very usefull, and the recolors are sooo great. Thank you so much.
(Oh, and the roller skates on one of the shelves, your I presume? :) )

  2. psychosim says:

This is great! Thanks very much!

  3. These are awesome. I’m trying to be good and keep my downloads folder under 600 MB, but I know I’ll use the sweet love out of these.

  4. barb says:

Love this!! Thank you so much for sharing it : )

  5. fairywitch says:

Thanks everyone, glad you like them! :D Yes, Mia, the rollerskates are mine ;) @enchanted_black, if only 600 MB worth of downloads was my issue, lol. I have over 6 GB! I keep trying to get that down a bit but something new pops up which I love and must have – or there is something I must make…

  6. I must always have more shelves! I have even more downloads than fairywitch, but I too am always finding one more thing that I simply have to have – like these great shelves…and tealights…and garden stakes :)

  7. Omer says:

You have no idea how immensely grateful I am to you for your constant updates as of recent, and that too for the Sims 2. Please keep it up, I love your site, again, immensely. :)

  8. irnasa says:

Yes though 10Gb… All the same it is difficult to me to refuse such shelves. Thanks huge!

  9. Lucy Kemnitzer says:

Yay for short bookshelves in repository! Yay for ultra tall bookselves in repository!

You have no idea how much I have wished for exactly these.

  10. eefje00704 says:

    Hi Fairywitch,
I just wanted to say that I absolutely love these shelves. They’re so simple and can be used everywhere with the right recolours.

I was also wondering if you take requests? I didn’t see anything about that in your info. Anyway, if you don’t, just ignore the rest of this message.
I was thinking of where to use these shelves, and how great it would be if they could also fit under staircases, with the top of the top shelf being diagonal, like in this picture:

It’s just an idea, but it would be great if you could make something like this.

  11. fairywitch says:

    Thanks again. :)

@Lucy, they are not actually BOOKshelves. Sims cannot read from them but yes, I have also thought about making short actual bookshelves from these.

@eefje, that’s a neat idea. Just, I have so many other things half created, nearly finished etc. I don’t know if I’ll have time for something like that in the near future.

  12. eefje00704 says:

Oh sure, it was just an idea, you know. I figured I might as well get it out there.
Who knows, maybe some day, when you don’t know what to make, you can think back to it.

  13. Emily says:

Hi, love your stuff, thx :D
I love all the small trinkets and sculptures on the shelves, wherecanI get them? :-)

have your say =)
